Click here to take a Look at my latest Artwork with Michael Martin MurpheyPatrick's MissionPatrick has used his unique artistic talents to commemorate the heroic efforts and sacrifices made by wildland firefighters and to dramatize the ongoing need for sound wildland fire management. (See the new Link to Michael Martin Murphey where Patrick's music continues to commemorate the brave wildland firefighters through the 16th CD, "Into the Fire"). The Artist's ProfilePatrick's work was on special display during the summer of 2005 at the Smithsonian Museum as part of the 100th year celebration of the United States Forest Service. His art was on display at eh Washington D.C. Capitol Mall in the wildland firefighting area. Patrick flew to Washington to be on hand to speak with the public during that celebration. Karnahan has been oil painting since he was 8 years old. In
addition to painting wildlands, Patrick has been capturing the history of the American
Railroads on canvas for more than 20 years. His Landscapes and Portraits demonstrate a
vision that can only be described as truly inspired by the wonder of nature.
